Q. How do I deal with the thoughts that keep replaying in my mind?

A.   I had a tough time with this, in fact - I still do. When I was first going through the separation, I would lay in bed for hours with thoughts of my husband and the other woman running through my mind. I would have to pray and ask the Lord to take those thoughts from me, and replace them with good thoughts. I also took an OTC sleep aid that's non-addictive, "Melatonin". This really helped a lot. I kept busy during my days to avoid sitting around and thinking terrible thoughts. I kept my life with my kids as normal as possible. I asked the women in my small group Bible study to pray for me to release these thoughts to the Lord. It's tough, but something you must do to move forward in life.
