Hannah: All - when I hear of couples breaking up I am about to introduce the one the one that is left to our group and then I hear that they want a new beginning. Nobody seems to want to repair their marriages these days.

Swan: Hannah - give up, move on, throw people away, seems to be the path of today's society. Working on things are just too hard, so people toss things and people a side and go with the next thing. That happens a lot with jobs, especially young people, no one wants to learn the job right, so they half way do it and when someone corrects them, they quick.

Hannah: HI everybody, welcome

Swan: Hi Hannah

Hannah: Hi Swan

Swan: Hi KmKrn - How are you this week?

Kmkrn: Swan - Good! How about you?

Kmkrn: Hi Hannah!

Hannah: Hi kmkrn, how was your vacation

Kmkrn: Hannah - We had a busy summer - first Paris, then Denver, then Ocean City, New Jersey. It has flown by! How are you doing?

Hannah: kmkrn I am doing fine thanks, I leave for England on Friday until 12 September. A little stressed as I hate flying.

Kmkrn: Hannah - I know what you mean (I don't like it either very much), but you'll be fine once you get there.

Swan: Hannah - that sounds like a fun get away, like you I hate flying as well, heck I have gotten to where I hate driving pretty much too.

Hannah: kmkrn I know the world is a scary place. Also the war ships that have crash recently think was a cyber attack

Kmkrn: Hannah - People are crazy everywhere

Kmkrn: Hannah - that's why I thank goodness that God is in control!

Hannah: kmkrn amen to that

Kmkrn: Hannah - My daughter was in Barcelona in May, certainly glad she's not there now; but you never know. Can't let this control you though. I was nervous about going to the Olympics last summer, but once there we had the best time. Keep the faith!

Hannah: Swan how has the other chat nights been with attendance?

Hannah: kmkrn I know we have to keep the faith.

Kmkrn: Hannah - With enough faith, you can walk on water to London! No flying needed!

Swan: Hannah - the past few Wednesday's have only been Bill and Little Magpie, Sunday's there are usually several people in chat, Tuesday is hit or miss, some weeks there are others but then some very empty and Saturday's depends there have been some it is only Cricket and me, other times more people.

Kmkrn: ALL - We need some PR to get the word out there, we know that there are plenty of hurting people that need help, just don't know what the answer is?!

Hannah: kmkrn I have just watched a movie with my daughter - The Shallows about a girl 20 yards from the shore and a great white shark! Don't think I want to walk on water LOL.

Hannah: All and I ask myself why I am watching this movie when I will be flying over the pond Friday night! LOL

Kmkrn: Hannah - LOL! You're right! I was scared when Jaws came out!

Hannah: I just got kicked out, back in now. KMKRN LOL.

Swan: KmKrn - I am with you, we have tried a few things and not much increase has happened. Unfortunately we had members that have gone off and created their own websites and mislead that they are certified, one of them left here because she had been blocked a couple times for using real names, bashing her husband and the other woman and she started out agreeing with everything Jim has written, but later would argue with others about Jim being wrong and how her method worked, her husband is home and she did everything Jim suggests we don't. I think some went with her and I just don't know about new people not coming, I will keep trying.

Swan: Hannah - Recently there have been several Great White Shark sightings near La Jolla (between my house and San Diego), the beach down there is closed frequently lately.

Kmkrn: Swan - Do you get Charlyne Cares? I do and every Tuesday is a message from Bob. His message for today was spot on.

Hannah: All - when I hear of couples breaking up I am about to introduce the one the one that is left to our group and then I hear that they want a new beginning. Nobody seems to want to repair their marriages these days.

Kmkrn: ALL - I never could understand why people wanted to swim in the ocean when there was an orchestra playing scary music! Get out of the water!

Swan: KmKrn - I still get that and read it, I have read the Tuesday messages many times, but every time they are posted I seem to see something different in them.

Hannah: Swan I was watching a program on why San Diego has great white sharks in the area, it was something to do with the beaches in Mexico, can't remember all the reasons as I was babysitting at the time and only heard bits and pieces. Oh one reason was that there were very large great whites down near Mexican beaches and the baby ones tried to stay there but the great ones bullied them out so they landed in San Diego beaches.

Kmkrn: Swan - Different? How so?

Swan: Hannah - give up, move on, throw people away, seems to be the path of today's society. Working on things are just too hard, so people toss things and people a side and go with the next thing. That happens a lot with jobs, especially young people, no one wants to learn the job right, so they half way do it and when someone corrects them, they quick.

Kmkrn: Hannah - I agree, people just don't want to put in the effort to save their marriages these days.

Swan: KmKrn - just reading them and having different things stick out to me more than it did last time.

Hannah: All I know when I was working at Wal-Mart after the school closed young people would come in and then leave after a few weeks! So sad what our younger generation have become. I will say that my grandchildren are always offering to help me in the garden or the house and I hope that work ethic continues. They see their parents and grandparents working hard.

Kmkrn: Swan - Oh. I was confused because I know that Bob hasn't rewritten any recently from heaven.

Hannah: Yes I get Charlene Cares emails but don't always get to read them. I must try to read each one.

Kmkrn: ALL - I saved one that has a link to a wonderful testimony of a mother who prayed for her son for 8 years! It's a good story.

Swan: KmKrn - that is what I meant by I have read them many times, it just seems that I notice something each time I read them, I guess it depends on how I am hurting to what catches my eyes.

Kmkrn: Swan - Gotcha!

Hannah: kmkrn has your husband found another job yet?

Kmkrn: Hannah - Ha! Ha! Yes. My prayer request was from LAST year by mistake! He has been working for GE Oil & Gas for 1 year now.

Kmkrn: Hannah - I told Surety not to bother to change it - she works hard enough!

Kmkrn: Hannah - Is your son's health still improving?

Hannah: kmkrn my son is doing well, he goes back to Boston in 18 months and across the lake to Burlington to the blood clot specialist every 6 months. The portal vein to the liver still has the remains of very old blood clots so the liver is bat being fed by smaller veins. If you are going to have blood clots that is a good place to have them because they aren't going anywhere. They say they were from the surgery back in 1998 when he had his spleen removed due to it being ruptured, he had had mono but didn't know it. Played hockey at college and got checked into boards and it ruptured his spleen, misdiagnosed at first with a UTI then 4 days later emergency surgery for ruptured spleen. Now years later we are still dealing with a misdiagnosis. His colon, pancreas and liver were enlarged and they couldn't find out what was wrong, ten days later they were finally getting it together.

Kmkrn: ALL - The Charlyne Cares dated August 3, 2017 has a testimony from a mom who prayed for her marriage and her homosexual drug dealer son for 8 years! It's a long story (58 minutes) but very worth watching. The link is near the bottom of the page.

Swan: KmKrn - that is terrible to still be dealing with the aftermath of a misdiagnosis so many years ago.

Swan: KmKrn - Thanks, I didn't watch it, but still have it in my box, so I will have to watch it, thanks for sharing.

Hannah: Back in again, kicked out again, twice tonight!

Kmkrn: Hannah - Oh my goodness! It sounds like he's got a good prognosis now and knows what he's dealing with to keep a close eye on things.

Kmkrn: Hannah - I like your picture. I wonder why you are being picked on by the computer.

Hannah: kmkrn, don't know. I was reading an article where they want to start pulling down statues in London, England of Horatio Nelson! This craziness has to stop and these college students need to get back to studying and find a job!

Kmkrn: Hannah - I agree!

Swan: Hi Buttons

Kmkrn: Hi buttons

buttons: Hello everyone , just finished doing a bit of work in my classroom and taking the dog for a walk, now I am feeling finished, it's a bit heavy feeling outside and it wiped me while walking the dog

Hannah: Hi buttons, how are you?

Kmkrn: buttons - what's the temperature there?

buttons: kmkrn not sure I think around 27 or a little higher.

Kmkrn: buttons - That sounds lovely! It's ~ 37 here (96 to 100)!

buttons: hannah feeling a bit better than I was last week, my emotions have been messing around with me but the last day or so have been alright, although I didn't sleep well last night, partly thinking about what needs doing in my room and where the remaining stuff is going

buttons: Kmkrn ICK!!! We've had it that high and then humidity which just drags you right down, it's heavy with the need to rain which is may not do, we've only had a TINY bit of rain in the last 3 months

buttons: Hannah how are you doing?

Hannah: Buttons I am doing well. Leave for England on Friday to see my mum and siblings. Pray for me as I hate flying.

Kmkrn: buttons - You'll be ready and prepared! First day of school here today! I'm substituting, so I didn't have to work today (no one misses the first day)!

buttons: Kmkrn We have another week and a half, after Labor Day

buttons: Hannah that will be a wonderful time, focus on what the end result of the flight will be seeing mum and siblings, will pray for you too

Hannah: buttons I know, my niece is picking me up at the airport with her 4 year old little girl so that will be something to look forward to

buttons: Kmkrn there's a sub who offered to help me with things and she came in this afternoon to do so. SO Sweet of her! She has been offered a few jobs and one of them has the stipulation that she not take any other contracts- turns out it's because the job share teacher has health problems, it's K class in a decent school, we'll see if she gets it

Kmkrn: Hannah - I watched all the Big Bang Theory shows on the flight to Paris (since I never watch TV). It made the flight go faster. Maybe there will be a good movie. And have a glass of wine.

buttons: Kmkrn if you were here you could likely have a job and be pretty busy subbing too on any days you didn't have filled. Old contract language came into effect the end of last year and it's resulted in quite the shortage of teachers.

Hannah: kmkrn I hope so, hope I can sleep as take off time is 9pm from Montreal direct to Heathrow London

Kmkrn: buttons - I like subbing since it gives you more options (and it helps out the teachers). I also know the kids, which helps a lot.

buttons: Hannah focus on the face of the niece and the little one and you'll be good yes, a good movie will help pass time too and hold focus elsewhere

Hannah: All thanks for the positive suggestions

Hannah: I am going to say goodnight, work tomorrow, talk to you when I return in September. Take care

buttons: Kmkrn yes, I understand, I enjoy both ends for different reasons. Our district is quite big so you don't always get to know the students.

buttons: Night ladies. I'm going to finish eating and try to cool down a little.

buttons: Hannah have a WONDERFUL trip!!!

Kmkrn: ALL - Good night all and praying for everyone! Have a good week!

buttons: Kmkrn I like the no report cards part of subbing and if I am regular in a room I like being with the students, having a position means I get to watch the student’s progress through and be in contact with parents

buttons: Night hugs and prayers all around

Hannah: All - when I hear of couples breaking up I am about to introduce the one the one that is left to our group and then I hear that they want a new beginning. Nobody seems to want to repair their marriages these days.

Swan: Hannah - give up, move on, throw people away, seems to be the path of today's society. Working on things are just too hard, so people toss things and people a side and go with the next thing. That happens a lot with jobs, especially young people, no one wants to learn the job right, so they half way do it and when someone corrects them, they quick.
