New Year’s Day – 1/1/2009

12:14 Pualani: I sent my H a text last night hoping that he will find the peace and happiness that he's searching for in 2009. He didn't reply and say that he already is happy, so perhaps he is still searching.

12:26 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Pualani - typically our spouses will tell us they are happy, doing wonderful, all is great, etc. and they are for a season, but many who have come out of the tunnel say the happiness was very short lived and they were miserable more than happy, but they didn't dare let anyone know. They put on a happy face in an attempt to convince not only us but themselves they did the right thing.

New Year’s Day – 1/1/2009

11:52 LisaK [Administrator]: WELCOME EVERYONE TO OUR NEW CHAT ROOM! It was a little tricky getting here, I'm sure, but we're still working out the kinks, and we'll have it all smoothed out soon. HAPPY NEW YEAR and thank you for joining us today. It's great to have you here to celebrate the Grand Opening of the midlife.com website and chat rooms.

11:54 LisaK [Administrator]: Heavenly Father, thank you for this great new chat room that we can continue to come and visit with special friends. Please lead us as we encourage each other in your ways. Please hide those in the chat conversation, and illuminate your words to those who need to hear you today. We thank you, Father, for all things new, and for this wonderful new year filled with new hopes. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

11:56 LisaK [Administrator]: The first thing you'll notice is that you read down, like a scroll that's never ending. It's much easier than have to always scroll down and read from the bottom up. You can also lock the scrolling and use the slide bar to read the chat at your own pace. Just don't forget to use the slide bar to keep scrolling down for the latest postings. If you have questions, just ask. I'm here to help!

12:01 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Hello Lisa

12:02 LisaK [Administrator]: Hi Swan. So far so good today!

12:03 LisaK [Administrator]: So much smoother than yesterday. It was crazy yesterday!

12:03 LisaK [Administrator]: Welcome Pualani!

12:04 LisaK [Administrator]: How's 2009 on the other side of the world?!

12:05 Pualani: Hiya! Thanks for the welcome! Yay! I'm here!!!

12:05 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - the instructions and information you sent out this morning will be very helpful and should make things run much smoother. Last night was just a surprise since we were not expecting the new room to be up that soon.

12:06 Pualani: Well, as I've not been here before I don't know any different, but it looks great.

12:07 Pualani: 2009 is dark by the way, it's just turned 8pm here in the UK

12:09 LisaK [Administrator]: Swan, Pualani is our newest ESG member.Pualani is a wonderful new member with a fascinating journey she's going through, twice as interesting! She's so encouraging to everyone in the ESG!

12:10 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Pualani– welcome, glad you are able to join us in chat today.

12:11 LisaK [Administrator]: Swan, Pualani doesn't make it to chat because of the time difference, but "Hannah" and I got to know her through emails, and recommended her to be a member of the ESG.

12:11 Pualani: That's nice of you to say Lisa! Everyone in the ESG has been so welcoming and friendly. Hi Swan!

12:12 LisaK [Administrator]: Pualani, Swanlake is an amazing facilitator and a truly wonderful woman of God. She is an excellent source for book and website recommendations.

12:12 Pualani: Oh brilliant! What books do you recommend Swan?

12:13 LisaK [Administrator]: Pualani, what is the latest news in your journey?

12:14 Pualani: I sent my H a text last night hoping that he will find the peace and happiness that he's searching for in 2009. He didn't reply and say that he already is happy, so perhaps he is still searching.

12:17 LisaK [Administrator]: Pualani, everyone will place the name of the person they want to talk to before their comment. This way when the room fills up with people, you can scan along and watch for you name to see what people are asking or saying to you. :O)

12:19 Pualani: LisaK, thanks for that. Can you tell I've never been in a chat room before?!!!

12:20 Pualani: LisaK, is there a limit to the number of words I can type in one go?

12:20 LisaK [Administrator]: 12:19 Pualani: It's easy to learn. You'll be a pro by the time we close today!

12:20 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Pualani - Wow, I have a library to pick from. Jim's books are good, Books from Rejoice Ministries as well, plus I have learned so much from Dr.'s Henry Cloud and John Townsend, who do the Boundaries books, along with others.

12:21 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - 12:12, blush! Thanks

12:22 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - Cricket just sent out an email, saying she and Hannah are having difficulty getting in the room, however, she also mentions last night, so not sure if it is simply a delayed arrival. I replied and cut/pasted the instructions you sent via email earlier, hope that helps them.

12:22 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Hey geebo - how ya doin guy?

12:23 LisaK [Administrator]: 12:20 Pualani: Yes, there is a limit for regular guests. Facilitators can go on forever. I can't recall the character limit for you, but I'll see if I can find it. When people run out of room, the simple start their next entry with the person's name that they were writing to, then they type (cont) and the rest of their sentence(s). (cont. = continued)

12:24 LisaK [Administrator]: 12:22 Swanlakejgs: Thanks Swan!!!

12:24 Pualani: 12:20 Swanlakejgs: I have read one of Jim's books and one of Sally's. They were both brilliant.

12:24 Pualani: LisaK 12.20: Aha, wondered why your sentences were longer!

12:24 LisaK [Administrator]: Geebo, welcome to the new chat room! Sorry you had trouble getting in last night. I'm glad you could make it in today!

12:25 Pualani: Geebo, hello I'm new here!

12:26 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Pualani- typically our spouses will tell us they are happy, doing wonderful, all is great, etc. and they are for a season, but many who have come out of the tunnel say the happiness was very short lived and they were miserable more than happy, but they didn't dare let anyone know. They put on a happy face in an attempt to convince not only us but themselves they did the right thing.

12:26 geebo2b: Hi swan and Lisa..Yeah I couldn't get in the 'old way' last night

12:27 Pualani: Swan 12:26 when I saw my H last weekend he said that Christmas hadn't been too bad. But I know different!

12:27 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: geebo - IT, surprised us by having the new room ready last night, so there was a little confusion and not many were able to get in. But Lisa has taken care of that by sending instructions and hopefully everyone will catch on soon. So what do you thing of the new room?

12:28 geebo2b: Hi Pualani

12:28 Pualani: Swan, to explain, my H is with my brother's wife. She has a 3 year old and a 3 mo daughters.

12:29 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Pualani - We usually can tell when things are not as wonderful as they tell us, but not a good thing to point out to them that the facade they are attempting to live isn't real.

12:30 geebo2b: Swan; I admit..this has been one 'tough; season emotionally'.tougher than all the previous..I Am praying on a regular basis..and hanging in there..

12:31 geebo2b: Swan part has to do with finances (almost no work for 2 weeks' but bills still come due

12:31 Pualani: Swan 12:29 I wouldn't dream of letting him know differently!

12:33 geebo2b: Swan: Part because my youngest son seems less and less inclined to be with me (he's 20 and I know that is normal) But for me, it is a sudden change

12:33 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Pualani- I am so sorry, it is bad enough when it happens, but to have it so many in the same family. I truly hope the ESG offers you support and encouragement and am glad you found Jim's site. It has been such a help to me.

12:33 Pualani: geebo, how many seasons have you gone through now?

12:34 geebo2b: Pualani: My wife left in 1st week of sSept. 2004..and I haven't seen or heard from her since march 2006

12:34 geebo2b: Swan: My youngest didn't see me at all on Christmas or new years eve..he was too busy

12:35 Pualani: geebo, that's tough. Do you know where she is and how she is doing?

12:35 geebo2b: Swan I only saw my oldest because he was so depressed at Sober living he consented to come to my house overnight but that was after 9 pm Christmas day

12:35 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: geebo - other than not visiting with you, how is he doing? Does he have contact with his mother at all? Is he staying sober?

12:36 geebo2b: Pualani: As far as I know she still works near me

12:36 geebo2b: Pualani: as far as I know she is living somewhere about 7 miles from me..with anybody?? Don't know

12:36 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: geebo - the sober comment was intended for your older son, sorry forgot to state that at 12:35

12:37 geebo2b: Swan: He is staying sober..had one relapse a couple of weeks ago but is back at it

12:37 geebo2b: Swan, it's ok I knew that

12:37 geebo2b: Pualani; as far as I know she is happy with her life without me..

12:38 geebo2b: sorry Pualani

12:39 Morwenna: geebo:12:37: She could just as easily be unhappy, but not want you to know.

12:40 geebo2b: Pualani: could be..well. I have and am facing so many other difficult issues with my life..all I have been able to do is 'Pray' and leave it at that

12:40 Pualani: geebo, praying is the BEST thing we can be doing.

12:40 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: geebo - if I remember correctly, your first wife doesn't live in your area, does she talk to or see the boys much? I hope they are in contact with at least one of you often. I know you have tried so hard to be there for them, one day they will understand and appreciate it.

12:42 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: geebo - relapses are common and that he is back at it is very very promising, shows his intentions are to stay sober. That is a praise actually.

12:43 LisaK [Administrator]: All: Hi, :O) I'm still here. I was digging through old notes to see if I could figure out how many characters a regular guest can type before having to continue. So far, I haven't found it.

12:43 Pualani: geebo, praising with you!

12:45 geebo2b: Pualani: what I am struggling with now..I think the financial stress and the sudden disconnect with my son without warning has caused a great deal of

12:46 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: helpme - glad you got in again today. How are you?

12:46 LisaK [Administrator]: Hey Helpme! Great to have you again in the new chat room! Hopefully it was easier for you to get in this time.

12:46 helpme: Wow....hope I learn very soon how to get into chat room :)

12:46 geebo2b: Pualani: self doubt about my beliefs, and choices and direction..so I am really facing an 'onslaught' in my own heart and mind and believe me I hate having to deal with all these self-doubts,, the external circumstances are hard enough, MW but the internal struggles I think are harder than the external things

12:47 Pualani: geebo, your emotions are facing an onslaught aren't they?

12:48 geebo2bPualani yes they are

12:48 Pualani: geebo, is your faith wavering?

12:48 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: geebo - have you been to the doctor lately? How are your med levels? I worry about you when you are feeling overwhelmed and depressed.

12:48 helpme: Lisa; Hope I'm not late to facilitate simply because I can't remember how to get in here. Guess I need to work on that part, ha ha.

12:49 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: helpme - do as you did to come in now, just use your facilitator login and it should bring you into the room in blue.

12:50 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa -oooohhhh, when I read your 12:45 it made me suddenly want a cup of white blossom red tea.

12:50 LisaK [Administrator]: 12:48 helpme: I'm sure you'll be fine. Can you print out or right down the steps I emailed? I also emailed the facilitators the "Chat Room Basics" as a refresher course. :o) We also hope Jeremy will be putting a "join chat" button on the home screen to make this easier for everyone to find.

12:51 helpme: Swanlake; It took me awhile to get in here again today, I just need to write something down so I won't be so lost getting in here.

12:52 helpme: Lisa; My printer hasn't worked in a very long time, will write it down.

12:52 LisaK [Administrator]: 12:50 Swanlakejgs: Sounds like you're fancying a cuppa tea! Run and make some. We'll be here while you go for a 'cuppa'. :O) I LOVE IT!

12:53 geebo2b: Swan I do have a doctor appt on Jan 14th

12:53 Morwenna: Ha! Ha!

12:53 Morwenna: LisaK 12:52 Ooops! Ha! Ha!

12:54 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - I got a fancy coffee maker (Keurig) for Christmas and all I do is pop in a K-cup (pre-measured coffee, tea or cocoa) and in less than 30 seconds, done and ready to drink. BRB.

12:54 LisaK [Administrator]: 12:52 helpme: just write: "talk to Jim", "chat room" scroll down, "join chat". Then you can log in with regular name or facilitator name. I need to email the facilitators to remind you all that I'm open anytime for a practice / run-through session. It's been awhile since we all trained in the new room! I'm a little rusty myself.

12:55 Morwenna: Swan 12:54 what's BRB?

12:55 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: geebo - good, if you need to journal some of your most depressed emotions until then so you can freshly express them to the doctor and he can adjust meds if needed.

12:55 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Morwenna - BRB - Be Right Back

12:56 Morwenna: LisaK, just got it and so you are!

12:56 helpme: Lisa; Thanks, will write that down. I hate feeling like I'm lost just getting here :)

12:57 helpme: Lisa; I think a practice would be good.

12:58 Morwenna: geebo, I think this time of year is an extra challenge on our emotions and meds may need adjusting.

12:59 Morwenna: geebo I'm talking from experience when I say that. I have SAD.

12:59 helpme: Lisa; Hey, you're able to be in chat today with no problems....PTL!

1:01 LisaK [Administrator]: 12:59 helpme: I KNOW! Today is like chatting in Heaven! Yesterday was the chat from the Abyss!

1:03 geebo2b: Mw: I do too

1:03 helpme: Morwenna; Hello & welcome to chat! Sorry I am late on my welcome...getting into new chat room was on my mind..hoping I will do better next time!

1:03 LisaK [Administrator]: 12:45 geebo2b: Technical question for you. Did you type as much as you were allowed to? I'm thinking about asking our IT Guy to up the number of characters so that you all don't have to do so many continuations.

1:04 Morwenna: geebo, I take a med and it's been really helpful. I also use a light box.

1:05 Morwenna: helpme, hi and thanks for the welcome!

1:06 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - old chat room allowed for more characters (black type). It does seem like there are more continues in the new room. I believe IT told us the number during training and it is much less.

1:07 helpme: Morwenna; I am also a facilitator on Friday nights, Dec. was my month off though.

1:07 geebo2b: Mw yes I have SAD too//the short days really are hard for me

1:07 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:06 Swanlakejgs: Yes, and I thought I wrote it down. I recall Jim telling Jeremy to go lower, but I think it's better a little higher. What do you think?

1:09 Morwenna: geebo, I am encouraged that since Dec 21st the days are getting longer again!

1:09 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - I think higher, when there are too many continues, I am always worried I might miss someone’s question/comments and accidently not address them as they need.

1:09 helpme: Lisa; It's a lot harder to get everything you want to say in sometimes the way it is now.

1:10 geebo2b: MW; YES I say that all the time!

1:10 LisaK [Administrator]: Morwenna / Geebo, is SAD "Seasonal Affective Disorder"? I get that way too. I go around and open all the windows to let the light in, and I can actually fill it trigger something in my brain. My husband doesn't understand the need for light. He likes the windows closed and darkness. I'm on meds too. Something I was against until I read the book, "Change Your Brain, Change Your Life" by Dr. Daniel G. Amen. It's on my list of recommendations on our Amazon link. The book really helped me to understand how meds can help a person, but not change who you are, just help your brain function properly.

1:11 Morwenna: geebo, I am sure to be kind to myself during these dark days; get plenty of sleep and rest etc.

1:12 Morwenna: LisaK Amen to that. You wouldn't tell someone with Diabetes to go without insulin!

1:12 helpme: Morwenna; I'm kind of wondering, how's the weather were you live right now?

1:12 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - good book, I read it awhile back.

1:13 geebo2b: Mw: I try

1:13 Morwenna: helpme, it's dull and overcast, but not raining. Where I live there's a lot of rain!

1:15 Morwenna: geebo, I also cut down on travelling, visiting, appointments etc if possible.

1:15 helpme: Morwenna; Lot of rain...my body would not like that, rainy days kind of get to me.

1:15 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:12 Morwenna: Exactly! Or, at the dentist, you certainly wouldn't turn down Novocain before drilling! I know have a healthy understanding of meds. I was so against them! I had 3 babies by natural child birth and chose not to vaccinate. I don't regret those decision/choices at all. But, when my 1 year old son started showing severe signs of OCD, we started reading and learning. Of course we tried all the natural routes first before resorting to meds for the little guy. Then, I realized how meds could help me with SAD and PMS! Life is happier for everyone now! (Like the old saying goes, "If mama aint happy, aint nobody happy!"

1:16 Morwenna: helpme, not only rain, but lots of mist too!

1:16 Morwenna: LisaK Amen to that too!

1:17 Morwenna: LisaK, I also have OCD which seems less bad since my H left!!!

1:18 helpme: Lisa; I'm not sure why, but doctors around here do not like to give meds for depression...believe me when I say have needed something at times.

1:18 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - I love winter days, the rain, snow and cooler weather, but can tell a big difference if I don't get outside at least every other day for some fresh air and sunlight. Even my cats, if I don't open up the shades in the condo, they sleep longer during this time of year. And that's for us without SAD, can't even imagine what it must feel like to live with it.

1:20 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - so that explains the 60's and "mother's little helper", they were trying to keep mama happy - LOL!

1:20 Morwenna: geebo, do you also try and get out of the house and get some exercise?

1:20 LisaK [Administrator]: All: We were at Disneyland yesterday, as always, to ring in the New Year. Although, I'm sick, and stayed inside for the most part, "trying" to get work done. My family planted themselves in front of the Castle at noon-ish to save their spot to watch the midnight fireworks. The day was clear skies, a bit nippy though. THEN, just before midnight, the FOG rolled in. I joined the family about 15 minutes prior to counting down at midnight. Was such a bummer to stand there and hear the fireworks, but not be able to see a single one. :O(

The castle was very pretty though with the fog giving it a soft lighting effect.

1:20 helpme: Morwenna; Wow, it would take a special person to live there...well if you grew up with the weather I guess you are use to it.

1:21 geebo2b: Lisa: I plan on taking a bike ride to the beach

1:22 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:20 Swanlakejgs: Took me a minute to get this one! I was born in 68. :o) So my meds are aka "mother's little helper" :O) LOL!!!

1:22 Morwenna: helpme, yes I'm used to it and LOVE it!

1:23 helpme: Lisa; I'm sure going to Disneyland you probably have some really neat pictures!

1:23 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:21 geebo2b: Great! You should! It's clear and sunny here in Norco, so I'm guessing it's clear there in L.A.? Did you have fog last night too?

1:23 Morwenna: geebo, how far are you away from the beach? I'm about 4 miles from the sea.

1:24 geebo2b: Lisa: Lisa: yes it was fog

1:24 helpme: Morwenna; I'm sure it's a beautiful place where you live! I love hearing about places I've never been.

1:24 geebo2b: Mw: I am about a mile from the beach

1:25 Morwenna: geebo I hope it's flat for cycling. It's very hilly here!

1:25 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - in the 60's valium was mothers little helper, my mom lived on them. The Rolling Stones wrote a song about it because doctor's where handing them out like candy back then.

1:25 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:23 helpme: I forgot my camera yesterday. Since I was not feeling well, I was just focused on taking warm clothes, tea bags, and everything I would need to work. I enjoy working there, and even though I was sick, I still liked it. But, after having been there all day just to see the midnight fireworks, made me wish I stayed home for once. But, who knew we'd get fogged in! I do have lots of interesting pictures from when I worked at the Park. I'll have to bring my album to the retreat!

1:25 helpme: Morwenna; before my H left the only place we ever went was the Smoky Mountains. When I got to go to chat room retreats, felt like a little kid :)

1:27 Morwenna: Swan, Valium is only given very short-term here as it's addictive, unlike antidepressants

1:27 helpme: Lisa; As you probably already guessed, I love pictures & taking pictures :)

1:28 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: geebo - a nice ride along the beach might do you very well, is it sunny there in California today?

1:28 Morwenna: LisaK, are you feeling better today?

1:29 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Morwenna - it is given short-term here now too, but they didn't know any better back then and it was considered a miracle drug for a time. The antidepressants of today are so much more affective and truly a benefit.

1:30 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:27 helpme: You are an amazing photographer! You're also very photogenic! You look good in every photo! I used to love taking photos, and I was a Creative Memories Consultant for nearly 17 years! But, once the kids came along, I didn't have time to scrapbook anymore. I'm so far behind now! Someday, I'll catch up, I do miss doing my scrapbooks.

1:31 Morwenna: LisaK, I've been scrapbooking today! I'm a Stampin' Up! demo.

1:31 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - girl, you are so much braver than I, you and your family go to Disney on all the "way too many people for me" days. You are my superwoman!

1:32 geebo2b: Mw: actually there are some steep hills..and I enjoy challenging them

1:32 helpme: Hannah2; Hello there!

1:32 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Hannah - hey lady, how are you? Good to see you again.

1:32 Hannah2: Happy new year everybody

1:33 Morwenna: All, I read that the feeling of being in love lasts for 18 months to 30 months. Do any of you feel that's right?

1:33 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:28 Morwenna: I'm feeling "so-so". Didn't get very much sleep. We didn't get home until 2 am. We adopted 2 new kitties on Monday (from the shelter, age 2 boy and age 5 girl), so they're kind of like having 2 year olds - in training. Scooping the litter box (diapers), feeding them, loving them, etc. My kids were both sick over the past couple of weeks, so it's my turn. Could be strep?? My son had strep. My throat hurts quite badly. I have fevers off and on, but not enough to knock me off my feet yet. Although, after chat today, I plan to take a nice long nap on the couch!

1:34 Morwenna: LisaK, a nap on the sofa is my idea of heaven!!!

1:35 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:31 Morwenna: I'm so proud of you! It's a labor of love. I miss it. I had had hundreds of stamps for my clients to use in the scrap books. I recently sent the majority of them to my niece in Oregon, and donated some to the church.

1:35 Morwenna: My H is collecting our S tomorrow to stay the weekend. I always get anxious the day before. I worry that I'll throw my arms around my H.

1:36 Hannah2: I've eaten so much I want to go for a long walk but it is freezing here.

1:36 LisaK [Administrator]: All: I'm a good typer, but me keyboard has been sticking and leaving off letters that I KNOW I typed. Although, I know I typed "know" for "now" earlier, whoops! :O)

1:36 LisaK [Administrator]: Hi Hannah! Glad you could come in!

1:37 LisaK [Administrator]: duh, is it "I'm a good typist". My brain is slipping into the naptime already!

1:39 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: OK all, no more talk about naps, my male cat is laying near me, snoring and with all the talk of naps, I am starting to feel the need of one coming on. Yyyyyyyaaaaawwwwwnnnnn!

1:39 geebo2b: Swan; LOL

1:40 Morwenna: Swan, don't yawn, it's infectious!!! Too late, now I'm yawning!!!

1:40 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: geebo - my male cat is the only cat I have ever heard snore, but he does and almost as loud as an adult.

1:41 geebo2b: swan LOL..I have heard dogs snore but never a cat..that is funny

1:41 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - Ahh, you are just good and we will either figure out what you were attempting to type or we'll go - what!!

1:42 Morwenna: All, I love my H so much and long to be able to give him a big hug, but... I smile and keep my distance and talk nicely instead.

1:42 Hannah2: geeb believe me cats can snore. My female that is half Persian snores a lot but then because of the flat nose it happens a lot in that breed

1:43 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Talk about infectious - America's Funniest Videos is on television and they are doing a segment on Babies laughing, I can't help myself, they have me laughing right along with them.

1:43 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:43 Swanlakejgs: WE LOVE THAT SHOW! I almost need to wear "Depends" when I watch it!

1:44 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Hannah - you know, his nose if flatter than my female calico, probably why he snores.

1:44 Morwenna: LisaK, Depends = Tena Lady?

1:45 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - so you keep adult nappies around the house, do you????? Ok, we are getting too silly, but I love it.

1:45 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:42 Morwenna: After he's come and gone, go inside and get on your knees leaning over a chair or sofa. Imagine yourself at the feet of the Lord with your head on His lap. He'll hold you and comfort you 24-7. Just join Him and pray.

1:46 Hannah2: swan probably

1:47 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:44 Morwenna: Depends = Tena Lady? = Adult Diapers basically. I've never heard them called Tena Lady. :o)

1:47 LisaK [Administrator]: Morwenna, OH, I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE SAID ADULT "NAPKINS". ;o)

1:47 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - 1:45 - Amen and so true. What a wonderful picture for us to hold in our hearts.

1:48 Morwenna: LisaK, thank you for that idea. When I see my H is when I feel most vulnerable and raw, yet you'd not guess from my smiles.

1:48 LisaK [Administrator]: Morwenna, 24-7, is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Do you use that term there?

1:48 Morwenna: LisaK, yes we do!

1:49 LisaK [Administrator]: All: I don't recall Helpme saying she had to go. I didn't get to say goodbye. :o( Did she leave on purpose, or just disappear?

1:50 sbky: all. hello

1:50 LisaK [Administrator]: WELCOME SBKY!!! Glad you can join us for the last 10 minutes of the Grand Opening! Any questions about the new Chat Room, or about "life"? ;O)

1:50 Hannah2: hi sbky, happy new year

1:50 Morwenna: sbky, hiya!

1:50 sbky: Hannah happy New Year to you too

1:51 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa - she didn't say goodbye, don't see a helpme says goodbye either, so guessing she disappeared.

1:51 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Hello sbky, welcome

1:51 Morwenna: LisaK, oh no only 10 minutes left? My S is amused that I'm in a chat room!

1:53 Hannah2: Morwenna, I am so glad you made it in today. Maybe you can stay up to see the milkman deliver your milk then you can come to chat too! LOL

1:54 Hannah2: Lisa I think helpme got knocked out.

1:54 Morwenna: Hannah, thank you. Is Saturday the next chat?

1:54 Hannah2: Morwenna Friday night

1:55 Morwenna: Hannah, OK if I'm not going to my brother's for the weekend I'll try and get back tomorrow.

1:55 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Morwenna - Just tell him you are joining the 21st century. It gets easier as you use it more often. Next chat is Friday night 6:00 to 8:00 pm pacific time.

1:55 Morwenna: Swan, that's 2am for me!

1:55 Hannah2: Morwenna 2am - 4am for you

1:55 sbky: I love this chat format..

1:56 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Morwenna - if you happen to be up, we would love to have you join us. It was so nice to meet you today.

1:57 Morwenna: Hannah, I'll need an extra long nap. Swan thanks for the kind words. Please pray for me for tomorrow, all.

1:57 LisaK [Administrator]: Morwenna, did you try using the "World Clock" link on our website. It will help you figure out the chat times. Today, we've been a little sillier than usual. We're usually more down to business with our life journeys and encouragement. :O) Also, the chat room archives are much easier to find and read on the new website. Go to "talk to Jim", "chat room", scroll down and click on Jim's archives. I think you'll see all archives there, not just Jim's.

1:58 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Morwenna - praying for you and in agreement with you.

1:58 Morwenna: LisaK, thanks for the info. Pleased to be silly for a change :-D

1:58 Morwenna: Swan, In agreement?

2:00 Hannah2: Morwenna we will pray for you

2:01 LisaK [Administrator]: 1:55 sbky: Great to hear that! It is nice reading down like a book! Just think of it as a long never ending scroll.

2:01 Morwenna: Swan, what did you mean by in agreement? Hannah thanks for prayers!

2:02 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Morwenna - It means that I will lift your requests and need up to God in prayer. Not just what I might pray for you, but repeating your request in agreement with your request to the Lord.

2:02 LisaK [Administrator]: 2:01 Morwenna: "in agreement" generally means, "praying with you in agreement to your request, amen".

2:03 Morwenna: Swan, thank you for your prayers and agreement!

2:03 Hannah2: take care all, have a super Friday.

2:03 LisaK [Administrator]: All, it's time to close up. Unless any of our facilitators volunteer to hang out a bit more, I need to get a little rest. :O)

2:03 sbky: bye all

2:03 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Good day and night all, see you tomorrow.

2:03 Morwenna: Thanks everyone. Happy napping LisaK!

2:04 Swanlakejgs [Facilitator]: Lisa are you closing, if so I am logging out

2:04 Morwenna: All, bye!!!

2:04 LisaK [Administrator]: Dear Lord, please bless all the prayers and needs that were mentioned today. Especially the prayers and needs not mentioned, that only you know need to be taken care of. Please help us all to see your will in our lives. Help us to submit to your will with full joy and faith. Thank you for this chat room, bless all who read it. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

2:05 Pualani: Amen.

2:05 LisaK [Administrator]: I'll Close. Bye everyone. Good night Pualani. Happy bike riding Geebo!

2:06 Pualani: Goodnight all.
