CHAT ROOM ACRONYMS  & TIPS

  • Your Chat Name should be your User Name if you've registered for access to our entire MLD Website.
  • Do not use real names. Choose a name that you would give a pet, car, or doll, keep it simple for everyone to address you by chat name.  
  • NOTE: CHAT ROOM Registration is separate from WEBSITE Registration, but can be the same information.
  • Use the “scroll lock” button to move the conversation along at your own pace.
  • View  edited chats posted in the "archives" section of the Chat Room anytime you log-in.
  • Guests use acronyms to speed up their conversations. Here are a few examples for you:
  • If you’re ever unsure or confused by acronyms, just ask what they mean and most everyone will respond with the answer for you. Often, by reading the context of the chat, you’ll figure out what the acronym is on your own.  Before you know it — you’ll be typing away and making use of these acronyms as well. They’re not mandatory, you can type everything in full of course.
  • I have been S from my H for 2 years.
  • We have 3 children, S8, S13, and D16.
  • I have been Separated from my Husband for 2 years.
  • We have 3 children, Son age 8, Son age 13, Daughter age 16.
  OW = Other Woman   AW  = Adulteress Woman   W  = Wife   OP = other person
  OM  = Other Man   AM  = Adulteress Man   H  = Husband   LBS = Left behind spouse
  D = divorce or daughter   S = son or sister or separated   XW  = ex-wife   GF = Girl Friend

Separate Registration required to enter Chat Room and Website.

DO'S and DON'TS for choosing a chat name (this is not to scare you, but to protect your identity):

  • DO NOT use real names.  
  • DO make note of Website and Chat Room Login Names, and Passwords.
  • DO NOT pick a nickname that your circle of friends/family know you by.   In other words, don't think "no one in the Chat Room knows me by that name, so it's safe." It's not the people in the Chat Room that need be feared.   It's your own circle that could be nosy - find you in the rooms, and use it against you.
  • DO choose a name that you'd give a new pet, a car, or a Barbie doll, your favorite candy bar, or maybe the first name of your favorite cartoon character or movie star. Examples:   "Dusty" - "Oreo" - "Abigail" - "Wilma"- "Bandana" - "PeeWee" - "Elvira" - "Hershey"
  • DO NOT use long names or guests will shorten them like this:
    • SugarGirlAnnie is always called SGA, Annie, or Sugar.
    • SomeDayMyPrinceWillCome gets called Someday, SDMPWC,   etc.
